Mobile Suit Gundam F90 (機動戦士ガンダムF90) is a 1990 franchise that features a series of plastic model, two manga series, and a short story, serving as a prologue to the film Mobile Suit Gundam F91. F90 sets the stage for some of the important events that would happen in F91, and also provides important details of the UC universe since Char's Counterattack. The manga eventually spurred a tie in model kit series.

U.C. 0120. With the disturbances of the past finally at rest, the Federation Forces 13th Experimental Battle group is conducting tests on two F90 Gundam F90 units developed by the Strategic Naval Research Institute as next generation mobile suits. But in the middle of testing, old Zeon mobile suits appear and seize the F90 Unit 2!
