Universal Century 0084: Axis, the last base of the former Principality of Zeon is holding a ceremony to honor Mineva Lao Zabi, who is being raised by Haman Karn after the death of her mother.

Some time later Char is leaving Axis on board of a Salamis to Granada. Lt. Apolly (in a federal uniform) helps him to get a new identity: Quattro Bajeena. Suddenly a MS-06F Zaku II appears. The pilot is the original Ple and Char duels her with a Gelgoog High Mobility Type.

He defeats her, but while Char is going to Luna, Haman tells Mineva about the Earth´s gravity that is pulling down the soul of men...
